Hi!
I grew up on a “real” farm in Ringerike, with my mother, father, and sister. The focus on the farm was on making things grow! Milk and meat were produced in the barn. In the fields, we had various types of corn. In the forest, we tended the trees so they could be processed into materials later. I learned early that if you want your cows to produce more milk, they need good, proper care.
The corn needs watering, weeding, and plenty of sun and nutrients to grow and prosper. An important factor for a successful farm is therefore to create a good growth environment.
My parents were also engaged in the local community, and took their share of responsibility for helping people who had fallen through the cracks. We had both alcoholics and drug addicts staying on the farm for many years. We were also a foster home for a while.
It turned out later that farming wasn’t my path in life. I was far more interested in the people we had staying on the farm than in milk, meat, or tractors. But the principles I learned from farming still help me in my work with people.
Today I work as a coach, mentor, and lecturer. I trained as a Gestalt Therapist at the Norwegian Gestalt Institute in Oslo, and have worked for many years in child welfare, crisis centres, and as a therapist.
I also have many years’ experience of sales, service, and sales leadership. My first sales job was as a vacuum cleaner salesman for an international company. The link between farming, child welfare, and door-to-door sales might not be obvious to everyone. But nevertheless, I managed to be in the top class worldwide for vacuum cleaner sales within my first six months on the job.
What I’m trying to say here is that whatever you work with, it will revolve around caring about the people you meet and are surrounded by. Show an interest in them, find out what drives them, and what motivates them. Only then can you make a difference in others’ lives.

What’s your life like today? Are you where you want to be?
I’ve learnt that there are almost no limits to what you can achieve in life if you get the right help and good guidance. Someone who quite simply believes in you, and can show you the way forward. What actually happens is that they help you to believe in yourself. They show you that the power, purpose, and abilities you’re looking for are already within you!
If you’re looking for a quick fix, you’ve come to the wrong place. Change takes time. But it’s always worth it.
Knowing what you want, or where you want to be, can sometimes be difficult, but it’s an important factor in moving forward in life. Here we’re going to work on what motivates you, what your interests and passions in life are. Perhaps you had them once, but they slipped off along the road. Using different techniques and conversations it’s possible to rediscover them, or to discover something new.
